A man of many talents, Manfred enjoys trying his hand at everything. As an NUS Undergraduate (Merit) Scholar, he capitalized on this opportunity to push boundaries while at Asia’s Global Law School. In 2014, Manfred joined the Military Justice Project, and in 2015, he helped organize the Yale-NUS College Asia-Pacific Model United Nations which saw over 1,000 students from all around the world fly to Singapore to attend Southeast Asia’s largest conference. Most recently, Manfred participated in the Attorney-General’s Cup and the Ashurst International Private Law and Equity Moot in Sydney. Notably, his mooting team was crowned World Champion at the 2016 International Air and Space Law Academy Law Moot Court Championship.
Back in his younger days, Manfred was Vice-Captain of the Catholic High School debate team and won the Victoria Junior College Debating Invitationals in 2013. Following which, Manfred returned to the debate community as an adjudicator for the Debate Association (Singapore) at several national-level tournaments including the Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championship. Today, he is deliberating how best to begin his legal practice in a career that allows him to combine his interests International Law and Dispute Resolution.
