Klaus TAN, SINGAPORE
Dubbed “Singapore’s Youngest Wedding Photographer”, Klaus covered his first wedding photoshoot when he was 15 years old. Thus, it is no surprise that he is likewise the youngest member on our team. However, wedding photography is not all he is capable of. In addition to shooting most of The Global Citizen’s original photos, Klaus helms his own label adorably called ‘CHUTTERSNAP’ which covers a diverse range of professional media related services including commercials, events and cinematography. He has, to date photographed for Montblanc Singapore, Microsoft Singapore and The Boys’ Brigade of Singapore, with several of his images being used in local newspapers and publications.
Klaus continues to challenge himself by taking up unfamiliar assignments including filming music videos and directing commercials such as the recent “This is What AC Means” music video which has already garnered 11,000 views. He explains that his photography style is a mix of boldness and unconventional creativity and he is best known for his unique style of images that are clean, striking and definitive. In short, Klaus embodies the entrepreneurial spirit found at The Global Citizen, and is a positive reminder to young people everywhere that there is no such thing as “too young”.
